Differences between the new Black Series Empire Strikes Back Bespin Luke and the 2014 original release: Geek Report

The new 40th anniversary Luke in Bespin outfit has been out for a while now, but this time Hasbro didn't just released a reissue with updated paint applications. The new figure features a brand new Head sculpt, with a much more accurate likeness to Mark Hamill, as well as other, more subtle differences:

The new figure has a clearer uniform, a moderate wash, and less stiffer joints

Ah but here is the meat and potatoes! A brand new head sculpt for Luke with a better hair piece

and photo real paint apps. His skin tone is much warmer and less pale. 

The old one looks like Mick Jagger after a round of acid. 

The new lightsaber is much more vibrant and has a better thickness. 

Snaps really tight onto the hilt, so be careful!

The leg strap on the new release fits a bit looser than the original which is much more

tight. The belt on the old one has a full wash, while the new one does not.

Tone variation on the outfit, a much clearer look at the wash-less belt

on the new version and obvious hair color difference.

And there you have it folks! Whether you want to upgrade to the new one or simply keep

the Mick Jagger looking one, is up to you. Yo can get no satisfaction if you don't
