Hasbro unveiled their 1:1 scale Ultimate animatronic Grogu figure for the new Mandalorian and Grogu movie, and yes, it looks to be an amazing piece of technology. according to the puff piece video published by CNET and Mashable, It features more than 250 animations thanks to his 4 motors and 14 sensors which allow the figure to have life-like reactions when you touch his cheeks, pat him in the head etc.

Amazon has 2 versions: One with a collectible card and one without. Both cost the same but the first batch with the collectible card will be delivered in December of 2026, while the second will arrive by April of 2027.
Here at GEN we want to congratulate the team at Hasbro for all the effort they put in this piece. It definitely shows. However with the current state of the economy, these are splurges that at the moment, should be given a thought.
Hopefully it doesn't end up at clearance for $300.
