Neca announces: Unmasked movie Casey Jones figure will be a Walmart exclusive and fans are not happy

 Ooh Neca, we understand that in order to sell at big box retailers you have to give them exclusives, but there HAS to be some other way to do so without pissing your fans.

In a post on their official Facebook account, Neca announced that the long awaited movie Unmasked Casey Jones will in fact, be a Walmart exclusive. This announcement angered fans who couldn't even get the first version. Not to mention international fans who are left out in the cold. 

Some fans wrote:

"Glad I got out of the movie line. Every Walmart exclusive was a total s**t show."

"Awesome! Another figure I’ll never see because my Walmart never gets anything" 

"Another movie turtle figure I won't find because my Walmarts don't sell Necas"

Neca previously offered this figure in a two pack with Raphael. This time however, Neca was able to secure the likeness rights from actor Elias Koteas, hence a new release was guaranteed, (Thank god they improved those elbows!) 

Neca's movie and cartoon Ninja turtles action figure line started as either Walmart or Target exclusives and have since become a nightmare for most toy collectors for the only way to get them is via Ebay, paying sometimes triple their retail value. We know cause we paid $90 for our April O'Neil and $90 for a Krang and decided to drop the line right after that.

We salute those who are loyal to the punishment, but here at GEN we are not.
